BERGMAN'S
opens its doors to a new era in fashion
and service on January 8, 2007.
The
Bergman family has been serving Lubbock since 1937
with a small shoe store named Sweetbriar. In 1950
Dorothy Bergman-Boyer opened her first clothing
store in downtown Lubbock, in a tiny shop off Avenue
J that measured 20 feet by 30 feet. She relocated
to the Caprock Shopping Center in 1962, where the
store bearing her name, has been ever since. Her
grandson, Gerald Bergman, took over the store and
continues the tradition.
The decision
was made to build a 12,292 square foot; free standing building
that can meet the vision of the future in Lubbock fashion.
Gerald chose his family name to become synonymous with
outstanding service
and the latest infashion.
BERGMAN'S offers
an extensive line of clothing, furs, jewelry and shoes.
We offer younger fashions as well as bridge and higher-end
exclusive lines not available in the
chain department stores.
Our focus is
first and foremost on our customer and meeting their every
need. We provide services like personal shopping, pick
up and delivery, even umbrellas at the front door on rainy
days. We have designed comfortable, spacious dressing rooms,
a coffee/water bar and an entertainment room where husbands
can relax and watch the plasma TV while their wives shop.
The room is also available for small bridge clubs, bridal
and babyshowers, private parties and small meetings.
BERGMAN'S professional
associates are available to assist you in the store and
on the phone. Looking for a specific style? Bergman's will
be happy to ship any item
in stock or assist you with a special order. |
